What is Kohi Click Test?

Kohi click test is a method to determine the ratio of clicks per second. It is similar to other click test programs, with the only significant difference being that it is featured on a Minecraft server known as Kohi.

The Kohi server is popular for Hard Core Factions game modes. While Kohi is an offshoot of MineHG, the latter is a spin-off of Minecraft PVP (MCPVP). Now, Brawl Games owns the MCPVP but it was initially developed by 'hclewk.'

Several click speed programs allow users to identify their mouse clicking speed over a given time frame. In most cases, the Kohi Click Test is used by those who play Minecraft. Players take the test to improve their mouse clicking speed to perform better in the game.

Why Clicking Speed is Essential?

In most cases, gamers are more concerned about how fast they can click the mouse, as it allows them to amplify their performance. Quick finger movements are essential for better results in Minecraft.

Data from independent forums suggest that 6-7 CPS is good. For Minecraft PvP combat, many players aim for at least 10 CPS to swing their swords rapidly. The faster the clicking, the more chances a player has to hit their opponent.

However, clicking speed must also be accurate to be effective.

Know Your Clicking Speed

Gamers around the world take click speed tests to improve their gaming abilities. For some, click testing has even become a competitive game on its own.

CPS (Clicks Per Second) is calculated based on the number of clicks in a set time frame — typically 5 seconds. The higher the CPS, the better your score.

How to take the test:

  1. Click the "Click Here" button in the gray box.
  2. The timer starts with your first click.
  3. Keep clicking until time runs out.
  4. Your final score appears when the timer ends.

Different Types of Clicking Method

Originally, gamers used the Kohi Click Test to improve their Minecraft skills. Over time, the test itself became a competitive challenge. Below are the most popular clicking techniques:

Regular Clicking

This is the standard way of clicking — how most people use a mouse daily. It’s easy and good for casual players.

Average CPS: 4-6. Skilled users might reach 8. However, it’s difficult to go beyond that using this method alone.

Butterfly Clicking

This technique uses two fingers tapping alternately, rapidly. It allows players to reach 20–25 CPS.

Despite its effectiveness, some servers (including Minecraft) may ban it. Still, many use it for testing purposes.

Drag Clicking

By dragging a finger across the mouse button, players can register dozens — even hundreds — of clicks.

It's mostly used to get extreme CPS scores on tests, not for actual gameplay.

Jitter Clicking

This involves tensing the arm and rapidly vibrating the hand to click faster. It’s difficult to master and requires practice.

Pro users can click fast while maintaining aim — but it takes time to develop this skill.

Auto Clickers (Cheating)

Some use scripts or programs to simulate rapid clicking. These can reach thousands of CPS, but are considered cheating.

They're mostly used for fun or experimentation — not serious testing.

Clicking Method Comparison

Name Difficulty Click Speed (CPS)
Regular Easy 3–9
Jitter Hard 10–14
Butterfly Extreme 15–25
Drag Extreme 25–100+

Medical Complications Due to Clicking

Regular clicking poses no known health risks. But jitter and butterfly clicking can cause strain if done excessively.

Some pro clickers report joint pain or symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome — especially with repetitive strain from jitter clicking.

While there's no concrete medical evidence, it's common wisdom in the clicking community to practice moderation.
